Yes everyone of legal age should be allowed to VOTE. We the People decide how the United States of America functions. Our VOTE is how we tell elected officials if we approve of how things are being ran or not

Argument opposed

Amending the Constitution is incredibly difficult and a right-to-vote amendment is unlikely to pass. The Supreme Court has also already weighed in on the question of whether there’s a right to vote, ruling that such a right doesn’t exist.

I think it is a shame that a huge population, those previously convicted of a felony, does not have the opportunity to vote. The system is designed to keep those less fortunate down.

Every legal citizen of age of the United States should have the right to vote. They already have amendments that guarantee the right to vote, so a little confused why we need another one.

I voted today to put a check on the ECOT scandal in my state, to put a check on payday lenders in my state of Ohio. Healthcare is an issue in my state as well.

Had the Supreme Court not ruled otherwise, such an amendment would be unnecessary. Under the current circumstances we need an amendment that guarantees every citizen the right to vote.
