Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the final rule of the National Park Service relating to "General Provisions and Non-Federal Oil and Gas Rights".
I don't want any more drilling on our land! We need to quit focusing on short-term jobs that destroy our environment. Renewable energy would create so many more jobs, long-term, and more economic prosperity
Our national parks are among the only wild places left in our country. By drilling in them we would destroy what little of the natural world we have left. Can you really justify dooming our country to a future without forests or wildlife? The value of these parks far exceeds that of a short term fuel band-aid such as oil.

National parks were set aside in preservation for the enjoyment of future generations. They should not be exploited by industry for their resources. They should remain unspoiled both above and below ground.
Our National Parks are a treasure for all Americans to enjoy. Many species of wildlife are now thriving thanks to these wild, natural, and protected lands and we must preserve that. There are other options available outside of these parks. It's shocking to me that this is even being considered.
Our National Parks serve many purposes....tranquility, education, observation, preservation, appreciation, and it boosts the economy in those areas that are lucky enough to be near a National Park. Drilling will destroy our parks and leave a scarred land for what...oil! We need to be looking into alternative means! Quit destroying the land!
Absolutely not! Our national parks need to be protected and preserved. This kind of drilling can create disasters that could have serious impacts on the environment and the safety of citizens in surrounding areas due to increased risks of leaks, earthquakes and other catastrophes.
The main purpose of the parks is to conserve and manage these extraordinary public lands for future generations to enjoy. Targeting these lands for mineral or oil extraction puts the quality of these lands and waters at stake.
Oil and gas are nonrenewable and finite in supply on planet Earth. While it won't happen tomorrow, the people will eventually lose their jobs. Oil has also been tied to wars and poses a health problem when oil spills get into the fish we humans eat!
