How many times do I have to think "are they kidding?" If we assume climate change is an actual thing, then why would it have more impact on women then men? Policy needs to stop accounting for gender and just address everyone as a whole.

What women in poor countries need is access to birth control so they can control their reproductive cycles. Climate change is not a woman's issue, it's a human issue.

The way this bill is phrased is to say that climate change somehow affects women in a way that it's not affecting men, and yet it doesn't present any example to support that claim. All there are are blanket statements and concepts that if you don't hate women you would agree with. On that basis I'd say yay, but I had any clue what they were trying to get it with this

Climate change would effect everyone the same if climate change was real and not a hoax. Come on people wake up. First we were all going to freeze, that did not work. Next we were all going to catch fire and melt. That did not work. So now we have climate change. What will they come up with next when this fails? Oh crap the moon effects tides. We need to get rid of it.

When scientists headed to the North Pole to study how much Ice had vanished because of "global warming" get stuck because there is twice the amount of ice than there used to be and need rescued, I would have to say there is just as much evidence if not more AGAINST " climate change" activism. Those in favor should pretend that every government spending action they vote for comes out of their paycheck. Do obscure unsettled agendas still tickle the fancy then? Is your paycheck worth being donated to finding out how temperatures not changing and ice packs growing affects women somewhere?

I don't understand why congress would focus on climate change and women versus climate change and human beings regardless of gender. When we fight for women's rights and equality but then turn around and do something like this it's hypocritical.

Women's difficulties in this world are due to human actions and accepted norms established by men and, sadly, tolerated by tired, lazy, ignorant, indifferent (any or all of these definitions) females. This proposal is simply a ploy to try to use sympathy for and/or outrage against unjust misogyny to gain support for action to protect the environment. Such action has its own merit and doesn't need some whining liberal B.S.
