Former President Donald Trump expects to be arrested today.
Trump may be arrested for giving hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels during his 2016 presidential campaign. Since posting about his arrest, Trump has encouraged his supporters to protest. Several media outlets reported that law enforcement in New York is making security preparations for the indictment.

The abortion pill, mifepristone, has been banned in Wyoming days before TX judge Matthew Kacsmaryk is set to consider ruling on a nationwide ban. The bill was passed by the state's Republican-controlled legislature and will come into effect in July.

Minnesota nuclear power plant spills 400,000 gallons of radioactive waste
400,000 gallons of radioactive water leaked from a nuclear power plant in Minnesota. The utility company said the spill was “fully contained on-site and has not been detected beyond the facility.” The leak was first reported in the fall, but the state did not notify the public until March.

New data found strong evidence suggesting that COVID-19 originated from raccoon dogs at a market in Wuhan, China. The analysis, conducted by an international group of researchers, uncovered genetic data that could prove raccoon dogs were carrying and infecting other animals with SARS-CoV-2.

French pharmaceutical company Sanofi has cut the price of its insulin by 78% on its most widely prescribed insulin, Lantus. They have established a $35 cap on out-of-pocket costs for clients with insurance, following Eli Lilly's and Novo Nordisk's example earlier this month.
