  • The bill would terminate the requirement imposed by the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for proof of COVID–19 vaccination for foreign travelers entering the U.S.

What's in the Bill?

The Bill will end the vaccination requirement for air travelers entering the U.S. 

  • Beginning on the date of the enactment of the Act, the vaccination requirement for foreign air travelers that was published by the CDC on April 7, 2022, shall have no force or effect.

No federal funds are to be used to enforce air travel vaccination requirements

  • Beginning on the date of the enactment of the Act, no Federal funds will be used to administer, implement, or enforce air travel vaccination requirements for foreign travelers. 

CDC to submit statistics on travelers who were denied entry 

  • Within 90 days of the enactment of the Act, the CDC shall submit a report to Congress on the number of visitors who were denied entry under the vaccine requirement from April 7, 2022, until the date of the Act’s enactment
