Former President Donald Trump is hoping to become President Donald Trump once again as he launched a third campaign for the White House Tuesday.
“In order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy for president of the United States."
- Trump, 76, flanked by American flags at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, told his private club:
"America's comeback starts right now. Your country is being destroyed before your eyes."
- “We are a nation in decline. We are a failing nation for millions of Americans,” Trump said speaking about President Joe Biden’s last two years running the nation.
“I will ensure Joe Biden does not receive four more years.”
- “In two years, the Biden administration has destroyed the U.S. economy. Destroyed,” Trump said.

- Since leaving office two years ago, Trump and his advisors have often floated the possibility of a return to the White House. On his social media network Truth on Monday, the former president wrote:
“Hopefully, tomorrow will turn out to be one of the most important days in the history of our Country!”
- Top aides to #45 said the new campaign will reframe the conversation away from Republican failures in the 2022 midterms and inject a fresh dose of enthusiasm into the party.
- Trump was impeached twice and his term ended with his supporters violently storming the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.
- Only one other president in American history was elected for two non-consecutive terms: Grover Cleveland in 1884 and 1892.
A House & Senate Divided
- Trump has already begun to take on potential challengers for the GOP nomination, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Shortly before Election Day, at a rally in Pennsylvania, Trump called the governor "DeSanctimonious."

“At the end of the day, I would just tell people to go check out the scoreboard from last Tuesday night,” DeSantis told reporters, alluding to his reelection by almost 20 points.

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), who has long criticized the president, compared his run (before it was announced) to a baseball game:
- “He’s been on the mound and lost three straight games. If we want to start winning, we need someone else on the mound. And we’ve got a very strong bench that can come out,” Romney said.
“I know, there’s some fans that love him. Just like, you know, an aging pitcher, they’re always fans that want to keep them there forever. But if you keep losing games, try to put some new players on the field.”

The Republican Cartel, the Federalist Society and their hyper-wealthy donors, and the Christian Nationalist Supreme Court Justices are ALL responsible for the Republican Cartel’s political losses.

The Fedralist Society has been bragging about their accomplishments in reshaping the federal judiciary over fourty years to match the Conservative Nationalism goals of their donors (becuase it gives them a better means to keep the masses under control and actually has very little to do at all with thier religious beliefs). ARROGANCE!
The RNC has actively and openly been devising means to disenfranchise voters. This last election had extremely gerrymandered districts that several Republican State legislatures kept in place despite being directed by their own State's Supreme Court to fix them. Further, they have been trying to put politically partisan operators in place in managing the vote counting processes, rejecting ballots and certifying the results at every level of the vote counting process - and they have been bragging about doing so. ARROGANCE!
The conservative Supreme Court Justices thumbed their noses at our country's women by ignoring 50 years of established and continually re-affirmed pecedent with specious arguments going back to the common law of the 1600's to, for the first time ever, just cancel an established Constitutional right for half of the populace, a women's right to choose. Alito lectured in Rome and bragged about his accomplishment. Clarence Thomas refuses to recuse himself from Supreme Court decisions that could affect his wife's criminal exposure in her support of the insurrection.- and argues that the same rational used to cancel an established right for women should be looked at to see if same sex marriage and the use of contraceptives can also be outlawed by the states - Conservative Nationalist goals. Then the Supreme Court Fedralist Society beholding conservative Justices agreed to hear a case on a position being championed by the Federalist Society that State legislatures singularly have the right to appoint the winners of all Federal elections, irrespective of and unencumbered by the popular vote, their State’s Executive Branch or their State’s courts. The fact that they have decided to include this in their upcoming docket is frightening. All of this goes toward sending all decisions back to the States because it is much easier for corporate interests to get concessions by playing States against one another for such things as reduced pollution or safety standards as they do now for tax abatements. ARROGANCE!
Our country is being shaped and manipulated by hyper-wealthy conservative investors to buy influence over our courts, our legislatures and our executive branches - all for their self interests. These folks did not get to be in the top 1% of our wealthiest by making investments that did not offer sufficient returns, so the fact that they are willing to invest so much must be that it is very profitable.
The trump is a symptom.
The sellout of our country’s governance and the Republican Cartel (primarily) is the disease.
The government officials supporting their benefactors are so enriching themselves that they cannot fathom that people would begin to see through their scam. ARROGANCE!
Why has the Republican Cartel not bothered to develop any political platform at all since the 2016 election? Having a statement of values that are politically respectable to the electorate gets them in a lot of trouble when they ignore those values and it becomes clear that having any values beyond winning elections so they can support their benefactor’s bidding is their sole purpose for existing. ARROGANCE!
The Republican Cartel is suffering from a profound case of the IGNORANCE of ARROGANCE.
They are getting fewer of their highly opinionated base that suffers from an ARROGANCE OF IGNORANCE.
Get all outside influence of big dark money donors out of any and all aspect of our governance, every branch and at every level. I feel that this is the only way to rebuild and restore the democratic governance that our country had and needs for the future. Dismiss both the ARROGANT and the IGNORANT. Neither help.

Lessons learned from 2022 Midterms is Trump base can easily win primaries but not so much general elections. This is a problem the Republican Party needs to solve as I'm sure the Democrats don't mind running against Trump with the Murdoch press calling DiSantis DeFuture.

Trump certainly is not my first choice for President in 2024. While I believe his policies were very good for AMERICANS, his ego supersedes his ability to lead our nation internally.
