Four current and former police officers who were involved in the raid on Breonna Taylor’s apartment were charged with several federal crimes.
The charges include civil rights violations, unlawful conspiracies, and unconstitutional use of force and obstruction, according to Attorney General Merrick Garland speaking at a news conference on Thursday.
In the nighttime "no-knock" raid on March 13, 2020, at least seven officers knocked down Taylor’s apartment door and fatally shot her. These are the first federal charges against officers involved in the raid, which was one of the catalysts for the resurgence in the Black Lives Matter movement and protests in 2020.

Senate Democrats passed the major climate, prescription drug, and spending bill on Sunday by a vote of 51 to 50 along party lines, with Vice President Kamala Harris providing the tie-breaking vote.
The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 will fight inflation, invest in domestic energy production and manufacturing, and reduce carbon emissions by roughly 40% by 2030.

Justice for Breonna, steps to curb global warming, reduce the deficit, reduce inflation, all Medicare to negotiate drug prices...bringing costs down, and finally making large corporations anti-up their share!
Hopefully, we will get some relief before the mid-terms! Manchin & Sinema, we won't forget your foot dragging, procrastination and outright obstruction of bills that put in place would have already been helping Americans.
1st steps in the right direction but more will be needed.
If there was ever a case for treason, it is now! What they have done, and continue to do, is being done on purpose and maliciously. They have all directly went against their oaths of office to protect this country and it's citizens. Instead, they have intentionally done everything possible to sabatoge this country.
There are no words available to describe the evil and corruption of the Democratic Party and several RINOS. But what they should know, is that they have literally handed the 2022 and 2024 election over to Trump. But sadly, by then, there may not be a country to save.
And if anyone can praise this bill being passed, they are either the dumbest person on Earth, or truly hate this country.
Our only hope is that we can get these bastards out of office and get in ALL America First Republicans and Trump back in office. My worry is, do we have enough real America First Republicans to put in office?
REPUBLICANS!!! We demand that you REMOVE Mitch McConnell from his Senate leadership position and do NOT allow Kein McCarthy to be House Speaker! DO IT NOW!!! GOP, your establishment RINOS ARE FINISHED! Get the Hell out of our way! Every single America First Republican should be voting RIGHT NOW to remove McConnell and select a REAL House Speaker when we take that back!
