IT: Helping victims of the Colorado wildfire, and... Are you concerned about Russia invading Ukraine?
Join us and tell your reps how you feel!
Welcome Friday, January 7th, colleagues…
Last week, a Colorado wildfire damaged and destroyed more than 900 homes in Boulder County.
An estimated 35,000 people were displaced by the Marshall Fire and Middle Fork Fire, and two people were still missing as of Monday.
The blaze moved quickly across grassy prairies into the wildland-urban interface, charring subdivisions in the towns of Superior and Louisville. The area was in the midst of a severe drought and a regional wind event with gusts of 75 to over 100 mph heightened the fire danger. A number of national and local organizations are providing relief in areas impacted by the wildfire:
- The American Red Cross of Colorado and the national organization are accepting donations for disaster relief.
- Colorado Gives and the Community Foundation of Boulder County are accepting financial donations through a Wildfire Fund

Biden Tells Ukrainian President the U.S. ‘Will Respond Decisively’ if Russia Invades Further
President Joe Biden on Sunday told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that the U.S. and its allies “will respond decisively if Russia further invades Ukraine."
The meeting comes after Biden held a similar call with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday, in which Putin was urged to de-escalate his military buildup on Ukraine’s border and warned there will be a response from the U.S. and its allies.
Prior to the call, Putin removed 10,000 Russian troops from the Ukrainian border, but tens of thousands remain and continue to pose a threat of renewed invasion.
Are you concerned about Russia’s military buildup on Ukraine’s border?

I pray for the people of Colorado and the people of the Ukraine. I put little faith in governments of any country particularly ours right now as one political party prevents the other from doing anything.
The Biden Administration gave Afghanistan back to the world’s terrorists with billions of dollars of military equipment. He will give away the Ukraine by not being proactive, being reactive will be too late. Watch for Biden to pull more troops out of Iraq. Then Turkey and Iran will step in. Watch out South Korea.
This government hasn’t a clue…. Thy have un-united our country and continues to make enemies wherever they go. We need stronger leaders and need to find peace.
I’m very concerned about Russia’s threat to the Ukraine. And yes, we should help Colorado.
Hmmm - yes concerned about Russia invading Ukraine - BECAUSE it seems Biden’s foreign policy is as effective as his domestic policy - clue - take a look at the southern border or his greatness handling COVID - no need to say more
