McConnell is not god and I can’t believe that the Senators he speaks for would make or support such ignorant statements when next years election could bring dozens of new senators that he does not control. In my opinion McConnell should be charged with Obstruction and expelled! He bends and breaks the Constitution to his will. He is not an autocrat or a king, he is a lowly Senator just like the other 49 states Representatives in the Senate. McConnell’s job is to speak to the wants and needs of each State by listening to the Senators that represent them. So where does it say that the speaker (McConnell) “is the entire senate upon himself”. He is a doddering, manipulative old fool. Where does he get off intimidating/bullying the Senators before a question comes up before them, yet alone a year in advance. Why does he speak this way … only to incite. He no better than the January 6th insurrectionists except on a smaller scale. This has become McConnell’s MO and the kind of tactics he has used since President Obama was elected. With an article on 3/16/16 “Obama nominates Merrick Garland to Supreme Court” Where McConnell stated that a Justice cannot be seated in an election year (8 months patriot to Election Day). Yet in 2020 McConnell rammed Amy Coney Barrett through conformation (with little more than a month to Election Day). With countless other instances of his double standards and being two-faced (lying). McConnell has to go. There is enough upheaval in the US and the world so much so that we don’t need it in our government anymore. The last 4 years were off the rails!

McConnell’s obstruction knows no bounds. He has rendered Congress useless and the American public is fed the “f” up with his continued BS! Moscow Mitch your job, and that of every Senator, is to consider the Supreme Court nominations the sitting president puts forth. It’s your job. Also, Kentucky….WHY? Tell me what about this man appeals to you? The man has done nothing for you. He throws you all under the bus in favor of big business…every…single…time! Go talk to the miners in your state. The man did everything he could to destroy Obamacare & won’t even consider Universal Healthcare. Meanwhile, he enjoys socialized medicine for himself & his family….all while the numbers of uninsured Kentuckians continued to rise…even before COVID hit. I could go on, but I really want to know, WHY?

Mitch McConnell said it to close (2024) to the Presidential election for a democratic nomination, a double standard is normal for republicans!

Mitch McConnell is simply all about obstruction and will have his legacy on not allowing anything from Democrats to pass and further deepen the partisan division and that is all folks! There is no timeline or circumstances that McConnell will ever allow anything substantive to pass while he is majority leader! Period end of story-he embraces what is most wrong with government! He is part of pay to play lobbying; having K Street writing his parties bills; working on protecting donors $$; and stuffing judicial ranks with GOP leaning appointments! He is the person who states that his job in 2008 was to make President Obama a one term president!! Enough said…

Garland made a statement yesterday about the domestic threat of white supremacy without citing any data to support these claims. FBI statistics doesn’t support it. And last week Biden claimed the major threat is global warming, which is very confusing. Left continues to divide this country with accusations of racism when they in fact are being sued for discrimination, Biden’s son using the n word, pushing for equity instead of equality, and complete disregard to women by using “birthing people” phrase instead and not taking into account female vs male biology in sports when including transgenders that will leave girls at a disadvantage. The right is vastly misunderstood and our concerns have nothing to do with being phobic or racist. Our concerns are valid and should not be silenced but rather heard and understood and vice versa. May God bless America and hope this country unites despite politicians and MSM/social media continuing to exacerbate our differences rather than what we have in common.🙏

Sidebar: According to dictionary.com, an insurrection is “an act or instance of rising in revolt, rebellion, or resistance against civil authority or an established government.” Which, given that five people died and more than 100 police officers were wounded during the violent storming of the US Capitol, certainly suggests that January 6 fits the bill of an insurrection. McConnell continues to abuse his position and power. He is singularly the worst threat to our Democracy and this country with his obstruction of anything that will serve anybody except for him.

McConnell is pure evil: a power hungry politician who will do anything to advance his self interests and to hell with the Constitution, the will of the people, and sadly, his own constituents.

Here’s another potential avenue by which money and corporations might influence legislation. I am not asserting that Manchin is, in a Trumpian way (meaning achieving a political or personal goal without directly stating it such as with Comey), suggesting that big donors use future job opportunities as bribes. It is an avenue that I hadn’t thought about for bribery or coercion to influence congressional votes. “West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin, in a private call on Monday with a group of major donors, provided a revealing look at his political approach to the most thorny issues confronting lawmakers. The meeting was hosted by the group No Labels, a big money operation co-founded by former Sen. Joe Lieberman that funnels high-net-worth donor money to conservative Democrats and moderate Republicans. Among the gathering’s newsworthy revelations: Manchin described an openness to filibuster reform at odds with his most recent position that will buoy some Democrats’ hopes for enacting their agenda. The call included several billionaire investors and corporate executives, among them Louis Bacon, chief executive of Moore Capital Management; Kenneth D. Tuchman, founder of global outsourcing company TeleTech; and Howard Marks, the head of Oaktree Capital, one of the largest private equity firms in the country. The Zoom participant log included a dial-in from Tudor Investment Corporation, the hedge fund founded by billionaire Paul Tudor Jones. Also present was a roster of heavy-hitting political influencers, including Republican consultant Ron Christie and Lieberman, who serves as a representative of No Labels and now advises corporate interests…. Manchin told the assembled donors that he needed help flipping a handful of Republicans from no to yes on the January 6 commission in order to strip the “far left” of their best argument against the filibuster. The filibuster is a critical priority for the donors on the call, as it bottles up progressive legislation that would hit their bottom lines. When it came to Sen. Roy Blunt, a moderate Missouri Republican who voted no on the commission, Manchin offered a creative solution. “Roy Blunt is a great, just a good friend of mine, a great guy,” Manchin said. “Roy is retiring. If some of you all who might be working with Roy in his next life could tell him, that’d be nice and it’d help our country. That would be very good to get him to change his vote. And we’re going to have another vote on this thing. That’ll give me one more shot at it.” “Roy is retiring. If some of you all who might be working with Roy in his next life could tell him, that’d be nice and it’d help our country.” https://theintercept.com/2021/06/16/joe-manchin-leaked-billionaire-donors-no-labels/

What has Causes missed this time. To name a couple: 1: Harris and the Border: Harris so far is still refusing to go to the border. It is too bad she doesn't care about/support the children that are being detained at the border like she did the rioters during the summer of last year. She went out of her way to make sure they got bail money. 2: Farmer Justice: Judge halts Biden's race-based aid to farmers. I thought we were trying to stop discrimination. Perhaps Joe is confused, which is happening to him more and more. More to come. I am sure.

Polecats don’t change their spots... Wake up! As for Putin comparing the insurrection to his own criminal behavior against his opponents? I would agree on one point, we watched as a madman tried to ruin our democracy. Our eyes are opened.

Mitch McConnell blocks free thinking people, by the Republican lock step cult. His intent is to stay in power and control. He has block everything Obama try to do to help the American people (99%) and I have no doubt authoritarian Mitch McConnell will do everything he can to maintain power and control of his base, at the cost of the country and the American people, which divides the country!

It is absolutely disgusting to me that McConnell is making these types of threats. The Republican Party was practically frothing at the mouth within HOURS of Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death to get their person in her spot, and now, before any one person has been chosen as a front-runner, McConnell is adamantly and vehemently stating he will block ANY Biden nomination. The position of Supreme Court Justice is supposed to be beyond partisan politics, and be for the benefit of the people of this nation. We are so incredibly divided, it is truly saddening. Neither party truly has the right idea, because everything has become about blocking the person on the opposing side. Very few legislators, particularly Republican legislators, are actually working toward the good of the people anymore, as they swore to do. If you cannot take your oaths seriously, you have no business being in this esteemed position of power. Do your jobs, and start focusing again on benefiting the people, not blocking the other side of the aisle or lining your own pockets, all of you.

This is all crazy, this country is so divided today, because of the partisan politics. Both parties are to blame, we have a president and vp that travels to foreign countries gives speeches that lectures their own country, calls their own country racist and built on racism. Who really will take this administration seriously?

Republicans pretty much affect my mental health. I am ashamed of what they have done to our country. The damage they have done, and continue to do, is unpatriotic and undercuts the healthy future of our children.
