How is it possible that Trump and a large number of Republicans believe he will be reinstated as President by this August? How is it possible that most Congressional Republicans still support a deranged man as leader of the Republican Party? What a sad thing that the traditional Republican Party has been replaced by a cult if personality.

Thank goodness Trump does not have access to the media to spread his lies as broadly as before. These statements of his return to the WH are still disturbing. Please Lord keep him in check! He is STILL a threat because of his enablers. May they all fail to retain their seats in a ingress AND the senatešŸ™šŸ¼šŸ™šŸ¼

Give Trump, his enablers, and his apostles some actual work to do! Have them peel the potatoes and sweep the floors! Make them read aloud, accurately! If they don't do it, replace them with the next Individuals in line. For nearly three-quarters of a century, Donald Trump has done nothing more significant than take up somebody else's space in order to spend somebody else's money. The back-door exit is plenty good enough for him.

ā€œthat guyā€ and his delusionsā€¦ šŸ™„šŸ™„šŸ™„. Yā€™all, I canā€™t explain how important mental healthcare is, but if you need proof, just look at the cult of 45 and the GQP. The cognitive dissonance required to even be a Republican is a unhealthy state of mind.

@B.R. We didnā€™t like it and we certainly voiced that, but we accepted it as much as any other lost election. Unlike the GQP who attempted a coup to overthrow our elected government on Jan 6, 2021. Whatever we ā€œsaidā€, we didnā€™t invade the capital and murder people. So go fuck yourself.

Trump isnā€™t worthy of comment. In another six months, heā€™ll be mostly irrelevant. Gasoline and Diesel arenā€™t going anywhere any time soon.. and petroleum use will be with us in one form or another far FAR into the future. Makes sense to keep as many of our reserves untapped for as long as possible. Itā€™s good for national security and itā€™s good for the environment. Win-Win!

These are two very real threats to the planet. Drilling can truly do damage that cannot be reversed. On the other hand so could Traitor Trump if he gets those codes again.

Trump should be arrested and jailed for putting out false information that could lead to another attempted overthrow of our elected government! I also think that some members of congress that are helping to promote this should join him in jail!

I do not support oil drilling in the Artic. Leave this last piece of virgin earth alone. It should belong to all of us and be protected by all.

The thought of trump being reinstated as president is the most threatening thought I could have. I simply do not understand the desire for an autocratic government. But it appears to be so. I have never felt the threat to our democracy as I do now. The possibility of this is just unthinkable. Keep your oath and protect our nation from this threat of a Putin like leader ever being president again and that includes the new look a likes. These people will eventually be our fall. How does China put it? We will be destroyed from within. This is exactly what they referred to.

Mary P: Thanks for your comment. Sometimes it gets a little frustrating trying to push that rope of delusion that binds the trumpublican cult together. But dammit itā€™s something we all need to do and I will continue to do my part and push along with all of my on-line friends. However, it is not as much fun as saving humanity by destroying evil invading aliens on an XBOX.

Trump is verified as nuts! So are those who follow that BS... He keeps picking dates and they fizzle out just like that blog. Now he has a platform asking for money again...and his namesake also appears on there looking as drugged as ever! Damn shame! He FORMER president keeps pushing these stories and itā€™s sad to see so many people following that BS. It does not help that 2 crazy compressional people are scampering around the country claiming that THEY are the GOP leaders. šŸ¤ÆšŸ˜³

@Michael.J.L wrote: "If anyone is insane itā€™s Trump. Meds or treatment donā€™t exist to cure him. He should be committed for life, after his arrest and trial of course." Michael's comment reminded me of the seemingly futile attempt of the 70,000 health professionals who signed a petition, saying ā€œDonald Trump manifests a serious mental illness that renders him psychologically incapable of competently discharging the duties of President of the United States.ā€ (1) Due to his behavior, ā€œThey [i. e. many health professionals] have commented on Trumpā€™s alleged paranoid, sadistic, and psychopathic tendencies; diagnosed him with narcissistic personality disorder; and suggested he might suffer from neurological conditions like dementia and Alzheimerā€™s disease.ā€ (2) Further, "in December 2019, several hundred mental health professionals sent a statement to the House Judiciary Committee members to express their concerns that due to his ā€œbrittle sense of self-worth" (3), Trump may act more dangerously as his impeachment approaches As it turned out, Trump's niece and the hundreds of mental health professions were substantially correct ā€” Trump became and continues to be dangerous. Having lost the election, after howling about his made up claims of Election Fraud, Trump instigated the January 6th insurrection and continues to not only advocate for those politicians who pledge allegiance to him but also continues to provoke both political attacks on our election systems and further violent attacks on our government. Having mental health professionals speak or write about their assessment of Trump's mental health helps acquire an understanding of the man and in predicting his behavior. Nevertheless, Trump worshippers boldly state that science is a cult. To them, science is just another opinion. As former aide and original QAnon espouser and apologist, Kellyanne Conway said Trump World exists in reality with "alternative facts." A decade ago, I would have thought all this would be the background of a sci-fi movie or a TV Show similar to "Fringe," in which parallel universes were shown to exist. Sieg heil! Heil Trump! But not in my universe! Friends, Here's what worries me about Biden and the Dems waiting until July or August to try to get their agenda ā€” including the For the People Act ā€” through the Senate: I've been in too many Democratic administrations that lost momentum during the summer when the country stopped paying attention. With the threat of Covid sharply diminished, this summer is likely to be even more distracting than most. It's vitally important to move now, when Americans still see what's at stake, when Republican moves to dismantle democracy remain highly visible, when Biden still has wind in his sails and strong public support. And thatā€™s not to mention Biden and the Democratsā€™ political window of opportunity is already tiny, and could close at any time. It's incredibly rare that the Senate, the House, and the presidency are all under the control of the Democratic Party. Thatā€™s happened in only 4 of the past 28 years. That razor-thin Senate majority would end with the shift of a single seat from Democrats to the Republicans ā€” which could happen even during this session of Congress. In 27 of the 38 Congresses since World War II, the party in control of the Senate has changed during the session. And it would be foolish to count on the Democrats increasing their numbers in the Senate or the House in the 2022 midterm elections. The presidentā€™s party rarely, if ever, picks up more seats during midterm elections. The last time a Democratic president has not lost Democratic seats in Congress in his first midterm election was 1934. Meanwhile, state Republicans ā€” who, not incidentally, control a majority of state governments ā€” are proposing an avalanche of bills to make it harder for likely Democratic constituencies to vote, including people of color, young people, and low-income people. Some states, like Georgia, have already put these voter suppression measures into place. And with these state Republicans in control of the upcoming once-in-a-decade redistricting process, we could see even more gerrymandering in these states ā€” meaning an even greater likelihood that Republicans gain ground in the House. If Joe Biden and the Democrats are going to accomplish what a majority of Americans want them to ā€” such as raising the minimum wage, expanding health care, strengthening unions, raising taxes on big corporations and the wealthy, providing free public higher education, and strengthening voting rights with the For the People Act ā€” theyā€™ve got to get it done, now. That means Democrats have to get rid of the Senate filibuster and stop worrying about bipartisanship. The window of opportunity is already tiny. And itā€™s closing fast. Robert Reich

Many talk about all the people that voted for Trump while ignoring the greater number that voted for Biden. Any true Christian knows that in Romans 13 God is the one that allows people to be in leadership. So Trump and his people destroying policies were not allowed to remain. Saul of the Bible tried to remain King and he lost everything. Trump and his followers need to just accept he is no longer president and let the country heal from the years of craziness.
