In my opinion, most of what the X-president has done is at least borderline criminal and I absolutely approve of the criminal investigation. When he first starting getting into trouble, he guilt tripped the Republican party into helping him when people demanded accountability. And then there was his brainwashing. I saw one segment of a rally where he kept repeating that Mexico would pay for the wall .... and then asked the audience to repeat him. Afterward, they truly believed Mexico would pay for the wall. It's a form of brainwashing that makes lies seem true to the victim. Sooner or later, the lies held in the twisted minds of the brainwashed people will reveal themselves but while believed, they are "true" in the victims' minds. In the meantime, there are immoral and illegal business methods that can make people extremely wealthy if they are willing to break the laws of our country and an investigation needs to be made when that happens.

There is more than enough evidence of due cause to conduct these investigations - a requirement of our legal system so that investigations cannot be launched based on innuendo, alternate facts or allegations with no supporting evidence that some crime may have been committed. This is why the 300 plus Republican post election fraud cases were all unceremoniously thrown out of every court, and why the justification for new highly restrictive voting laws are bogus.
