What's the story?
- Domino's receives a hearty "F" in animal welfare. The worldwide pizza chain has done - and is doing - nothing to mitigate or eliminate the cruel and inhumane treatment of the pigs, chickens, and cows that make up its supply chain.
- This ignominious rating was delivered by the Humane Society's Food Industry Scorecard—a year-long audit that examines 100 of the nation's largest food companies' progress toward reducing animal suffering in their supply chains.
- Domino’s Pizza was ranked #66—the bottom of an abysmal bottom.
"Domino’s has no commitments that meaningfully address any of the most pressing concerns—and to our knowledge, it never has."
- The report added:
"We encourage [Domino's] to adopt meaningful policies regarding its pork, egg, and chicken supply chains and add plant-based proteins to its menu."

- The Humane Society is committed to reducing the dismal conditions of most factory-farmed meat, which often include the following situations:
Mother pigs locked in gestation crates so tiny they can’t turn around.
Hens crammed so tightly in cages they can't spread their wings.
Chickens bred to grow so large they suffer agonizing leg disorders.

For the animals!
We must stop subsidizing factory farming - it is destroying our planet. Let people who want to eat meat pay the true cost. Humanely and sustainably raised
There is no justification for the inhuman treatment of animals raised for food. It is time to put food producers on notice. No more boycotts seeking change. From now on boycott to put them out of business.
This is just the right thing to do.
How about starting with humane treatment of humans? So we are going to kill animals reared for food ‘humanely’ but just blindly shoot to kill humans who are ‘perceived’ to be dangerous? I guess stupidity has set in akin to rigor mortis ?
I am neither vegan nor vegetarian, but I am ethical and any organization that puts profits before ethics needs to be avoided. Publicizing this information will empower people to help correct it by using their power of choice. I guarantee you, I will no longer do business with Dominos.
It's the humane thing to do!
We should demand all foods be organic No GMO modified foods. These foods affect all of us and are not good for us.
Animals should be humanely treated, period. It is sickening to think about the disrespect and cruelty that animals are subjected to.
As a vegan for more then a decade, the cruelty behind meat production is not news. Domino's is not alone- its the whole industry. What did you meat eaters think? Your pizza, or chicken nuggets come with a side of misery.
Animals should be treated well until we eat them It is not only good for them, it is better for the environment, and healthier for those of us that consume them Also anybody that treats an animal with cruelty is a POS
Cruelty is beyond excuse
We need to put federal standards and enforcement in place that make inhumane animal welfare practices illegal. It should not be up to consumers to have to learn from nonprofits about these things and then have to find the few humane alternatives that exist to mass cruelty that is the norm. THIS IS NOT AND SHOULD NOT BE MADE TO BE A CONSUMER ISSUE. It is disheartening and pathetic that we have not progressed federally on the factory farming issue despite abhorrent practices being the norm for decades. Thank you, Causes, for taking this up.

Shame on you. Mistreatment and inhumane conditions are disgusting and not necessary. Clean up your act and then I’ll return as a customer
Human being must act with humanity towards all of God’s Creation. We are mere stewards who should act accordingly. To do otherwise is a cause for great concern.
Animals who are not treated humanely are really not even safe to eat. Ask a hunter who has wounded an elk and had to chase it all over the mountains to finally bring it down. The meat is ruined. Anyone who isn't smart enough to figure that out shouldn't be eating!
Animal cruelty should never occur.
If I had to witness these practices first hand, I would definitely turn vegan!
There is no reason to abuse an animal before killing it! It's that simple!
