Supreme court needs to stop siding with fascists and republicans. Some of these old guys need to retire like Clarence Thomas, Alito, and roberts
Too many things here without enough info to really vote. Much of this is examples of things booted to the court that should have been resolved in the legislature that has become too gridlocked. On the donation transparency in the current cancel culture environment I'd be against as if the names are revealed then they'll be vilified. Example, once I was at a Wegmans a few years ago and complained they no longer had the fresh juices they used to. I was told the reason was the bottles were supplied by a company that donated to one party and they were now looking for a new company. Part of the boycott mindset that is harming our nation.
great if we can move forward on theses issues but, history being what it is & bearing me out I won't hold my breath time & time again we as a nation have had to be & still is dragged kicking & screaming toward any meaningful economic, social & civil advancements because of folks who behave as if rights were pie & that the reasonable conference of them on others would mean that they then have less which is not only silly but, has never been the case, why are we always last to the party of enlightenment? I say, c'mon, let's grow up & quit being the laughing stock of the globe with our recalcitrant immature behaviors & attitudes!
I think that Americans have learned over the past four years that if you have to go before a Judge, you'll need to make sure you get a judge that is in your own political party. It is the way it is!
i am making easily persistently $15k to $20k simply by doing direct work at home. Multi-month again I have made $45890 from this movement. amazing and smooth to do work and standard pay from this is bewildering. I have proposed each final one of you to join this progress right directly as low protection and get than full-time salary through taking after this association. Political donor transparency should be interesting. I pray those that need to and should will recuse themselves. I am for ethics reform of the court and term limits though.
Indigenous Natives are NOT Indians! People from the country India are Indians!!!
I'm not a Justice and am not venturing an opinion but will be watching the courts decisions as one decision will have an affect on Washington State.
I want to see a one to one ratio of women to men, on the SCOTTUS, so yeah expand it to 18, 9 men, 9 women! I also think all of our government offices should be done that way.
SCOTUS has failed us all now that they have gone political. They will either be wiped out by packing or by politics. The people lose.
We need to reform the courts and make it non-partisan
I approve of the schedule, in that these are all important questions that should be considered and the issues decided at the highest level and in light of the most defined constitutional understanding. That is exactly what the SCOTUS is for. I only wish I had more confidence in the decisions being correct, humane, lasting, and in support of our official national standards and values.
I have little trust in this ultraconservative SCOTUS!
I have lost all respect for the American legal system. When Republicans decided that only Republicans can appoint Supreme Court justices, the court was corrupted. When the highest court in the land becomes corrupted, all the lower courts also become corrupted. I have no intention to ever serve as a juror.
UNFORTUNTELY WITH TRUMP AND MCCONNELLS BULLSHIT JUSTICES IN THE SUPREME COURT THE PROSPECT OF ACTUAL JUSTICE MAY FALL FLAT!!!
Sorry to say that the court is just another political organization, self perpetuating! It's controlled be corporations and the very rich, just like many of our politicians! Citizens United is destroying our democracy, we need to find a way where the interest of the average Americans are in control!
The real decision about how I feel about these cases is how the court rules on them.
:)
The Supreme Court is useless to progressives because a corrupt party ,GOP, filled it with backward moving justices. Until there is reform to who serves and installing term limits anything the courts decree is questionable.
Brian: At one time, the X-president said the Constitution was a fake document. I'm not sure why anyone would give credit to anything he says. They just feel sorry for him. WHAT? He goes around abusing everyone and gets by with it because he has a lot of money .... and no doubt laughs about it .... and they feel sorry for him???
