What's the story?

  • President Joe Biden signed three major executive orders Tuesday aimed at dismantling former President Donald Trump's restrictive immigration practices, including a task-force to reunite families that had been separated at the U.S.-Mexican border.
“I’m not making new law. I’m eliminating bad policy,” Biden said while signing the orders. "This is about how America's safer, stronger, more prosperous when we have a fair, orderly, and humane legal immigration system."

What are the three orders?

  • Creating a task force to reunite children who were separated from their parents under Trump's "zero tolerance" policy, which the administration called a "moral failing."
  • Evaluating legal immigration programs - such as the Central American Minors Program - which began under President Barack Obama. This program - which Trump terminated in 2017 - allowed certain Central American children to lawfully unite with family members in the U.S.
  • The second order also calls for a review of the Trump administration's "Remain in Mexico" policy, which required asylum-seekers to remain in northern Mexico as they await court hearings for U.S. protection.
  • The third order directs the State Department, the Justice Department, and the Department of Homeland Security to review policies implemented under Trump to determine whether they adhere to the government mandate to promote "integration and inclusion."

Read more here: https://www.causes.com/comments/1422516 It would behoove you to do some research on how bad the “children in cages” situation has become since Biden signed these executive orders. [That is, if Google doesn’t censor the results like they have for sooooo many other things.] Far more cruel and unimaginable atrocities have occurred since he made that move. Whilst a completely inept VP pretends that nothing is happening there at all. Refuses to visit. Laughs at the crisis and in the face of those poor innocent kids being tossed over walls, abandoned at the river and left for dead ... criminals use them to cross and pretend they’re a family so they can stay... people are crossing from countries that we have NEVER SEEN BEFORE... because of how OPEN they made the border.... Meanwhile she visits other countries like Guatemala trying to say that social and global warming issues are pushing people here to be told by their leader “no, it’s your policies”... same thing with Mexico.. pleading to put the policies back in place and stop this crisis.... The feds / Biden are shipping repeat offenders / criminals to other states (like mine) to be released into the public in the dead of night... Stories of people being packed into facilities tighter than you EVER saw during Trump’s admin.. but this time it was DURING A PANDEMIC....... (btw, if we are keeping truthful track - Obama started the kids in cages thing).... Blatant refusal throughout this entire process to just allow media in to see the facilities because they KNOW HOW BAD IT IS AND DON’T want you to see... Elevated crime, theft, rape, murders and trespassing on private citizen’s land in the border states... my state of Florida has a huge spike in border meth being found in Northern Florida.. now having to send FL police to help Texas because Biden and Harris are completely F-ing USELESS.... bad policies... too much pandering, eating ice cream, posing for cameras and pretending to be the wokest..... It’s really easy to be in a non-border state and shout “open borders” when it’s not your ranch at risk... when it’s not your grandma being assaulted by criminals who have been caught and re-released many times.... Disgusting to me how many of you tried to completely rail against Trump for what the Biden / Harris admin is doing RIGHT NOW... In so many worse ways... and all of the superficial self-righteousness has dwindled..... what happened to protecting the kids in cages?? What happened to the activism?? Just Anti-Trump BS...     This was the most ignorant and dangerous decision that OBiden could have made simply because it was Trump that put these things in place?? Has anyone actually bothered to see what Texas has had to manage since this garbage decision was made?? It’s STILL chaotically out of control and no one seems to care.... terrible decisions. Terrible.

    Democrats should continue to push the Biden agenda as fast as possible. The country needs it and will prosper from it. The Republicans have let things crumble from their lack of leadership and actions.
