Welcome to Monday, December 21st, Cokes, Pepsis, and RCs...
Congressional leaders announced Sunday evening that they reached a bipartisan, bicameral agreement on a $2.3 trillion package that includes $900 billion in coronavirus relief plus a $1.4 trillion omnibus appropriations package for FY2021.
The legislative text of the deal hasn't been made public and likely won't be final until Monday.
Lawmakers hope to have the legislative text ready Monday morning so that the House Rules Committee can prep it for floor consideration. The rule for the bill will include a one-week CR to extend funding while the omnibus and COVID-19 package are considered, processed, and formally enrolled. While the rule itself will only be considered by the House, the one-week CR would be sent to the Senate.
âAs the American people continue battling the coronavirus this holiday season, they will not be on their own,â Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said in a tweet.
âCongress has just reached an agreement. We will pass another rescue package ASAP. More help is on the way.â

Martial Law & Rerun Election?
Former National Security Adviser Michal Flynn has suggested Trump should deploy the military in "swing states" to "rerun" the election.
According to the New York Times, President Trump entertained the proposal on Friday. However, Trump on Sunday dismissed the report, tweeting:
âMartial law = Fake News. Just more knowingly bad reporting!â
But a senior administration official told Axios that when Trump retweets "threats of putting politicians in jail, and spends his time talking to conspiracy nuts who openly say declaring martial law is no big deal, itâs impossible not to start getting anxious about how this ends."
Should Trump declare martial law and 'rerun' the election?
Guardian of Space
The Army has soldiers. The Navy has sailors.
The Space Force? "Guardians."
"It is my honor, on behalf of the president of the United States, to announce that, henceforth, the men and women of the United States Space Force will be known as 'guardians,' " Vice President Mike Pence told a room of military and other government officials, who broke into applause.
"Soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines, and guardians will be defending our nation for generations to come."
What do you think of the name?
And, in the EndâŚ

Coquito is a traditional Puerto Rican holiday drink, often compared to eggnog.
