URGENT: Check Your Ballot Status in Arizona, Nevada, and Georgia
Residents of these swing states still have time to correct their ballots—but act soon!
With races in Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Georgia likely to be decided by razor-thin margins, it's essential for voters in these key states to check their ballots as soon as possible.
If you're a voter in one of these states whose ballot has been rejected for a missing signature or a mismatch with your signature on file, you still have time to correct the issue—but you need to act soon!
Here's what to do in each of these battleground states:
ARIZONA
- Track your ballot's status to see if it's been accepted.
- If it hasn't been accepted, contact your local election office to correct the issue.
- You have until five days after Election Day to fix any issues with your ballot.
NEVADA
- Track your ballot's status to see if it's been accepted.
- If it hasn't been accepted, contact your county clerk to correct the issue.
- You have until seven days after Election Day to fix any issues with your ballot.
GEORGIA
- Track your ballot's status to see if it's been accepted.
- If it hasn't been accepted, contact your local county election office or the Georgia provisional ballot resource hotline (888-730-5816) for help correcting the issue.
- You have until three days after Election Day to fix any issues with your ballot.
What if I want to help ensure ballots are cured?
Volunteer to contact voters and help them correct ballot issues!
All battleground states
- NextGen America's phone banking initiative covers 11 battleground states, including all three of the above states.
- If you don't like the idea of calling strangers on the phone, you can also text bank with NextGen.
Georgia
- The Georgia Democratic Party has a 48-minute training video available to watch anytime; after watching this, you'll be able to phone or text bank to contact voters.
Nevada
- The Nevada Democrats' phone-banking initiative to contact voters runs through November 12, and trainings are available multiple times a day.
North Carolina
- The North Carolina Dems Voter Protection Team has phone banking slots from now until November 12 (the last day votes are counted in the state), with training at the start of each shift.
