USPS ALERT: Drop Your Ballot Off in Person - Here's How
Find your polling location.
The United States Postal Service is recommending you DO NOT mail in your ballot at this point in the election season.
The USPS generally recommends:
"[M]ail your completed ballot before Election Day, and at least one week prior to your state’s deadline."
Yes, even if your state allows "postmarked by Election Day," it's probably a good idea to drop off your ballot in person.
Thirty states require absentee and mail-in ballots that are returned by mail to be received on or before Election Day.
Nineteen states, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Washington, D.C., accept and count a mailed ballot if it is received after Election Day but postmarked on or before - sometimes only before - Election Day.
Even if your state allows "postmarked by Election Day," it's probably a good idea to drop off your ballot in person.

Since my regular polling place in my building is open for this election will be available I will just vote there tomorrow (11-8-22).
During COVID it was closed, and during early voting it's not open (if I need to travel) so I use absentee ballots for these elections which I do like because it's easier to research people & issues on the ballot I'm unsure if.
More likely to vote a party ticket in person while I'm more issue oriented using an absentee ballot as I have the opportunity to research unknowns.
