Should Northam resign over racist yearbook photos?

The Democratic Party of Virginia tweeted Saturday that in spite of immense public pressure, embattled Gov. Ralph Northam will not resign.
The backdrop: Northam admitted Friday to appearing in a racist 1984 yearbook photo, which depicts two people wearing blackface and Ku Klux Klan attire. In his initial statements, Northam apologized for his actions and said he would do everything he could to regain the trust of his constituents. He did not offer to resign and — according to the Virginia Democrats — will not do so at his press conference Saturday morning.
