Washington Post Journalist Jamal Khashoggi died in a Saudi Arabian consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. He was allegedly murdered to silence his reporting. Both the CIA and the UN have found evidence that links the Saudi Crown to the incident, and despite urging from congress, the US Executive branch has yet to open an independent investigation.

Freedom of the Press is essential to our democracy, and we should strive to expand these ideals globally. American journalists should never be intimidated or silenced, and in order to uphold that idea, we must urge our officials to look into cases like Jamal Khashoggi's. Do you think investigating Jamal Khashoggi's case can help uphold and encourage freedom of the press?
