Sign the Petition to

Joko Widodo

Dear Joko Widodo,

My campaign highlights the risk of tigers extinction due to poaching in Indonesia. Tigers are your native animal therefore you have a responsibility to act on this issue. It is vital that you support this cause because if you don’t a treasured animal that many people visit your country to see will no longer be on this earth.
It is estimated to be as little as 3200 tigers left in the wild. As tigers are a native animal to Indonesia I would be very grateful to have you on board in this petition to save the tigers. Being a tourist attraction to Indonesia and also a national treasure to the locals. It would be a worldwide devastation if these beautiful creatures are forced into extinction.
I believe having you on board with this cause is the best way we can stop the extinction of tigers. Enforcing laws against poaching and banning the sales of tiger parts are two ways that would be helpful in the quest to save the tigers. Enforcement of stricter laws can make poachers think again before killing these innocent animals native to your country.
Having you a part of this cause is crucial to the tigers’ survival. Being the Indonesian president comes with great responsibility and it then become your responsibility to save the tigers. I believe enforcing stricter laws against poaching and banning the sale of tiger parts is much needed change in order to keep these apex predators around for years to come. Higher penalties will make the poachers think twice about hunting and killing these animals.
Yours sincerely,
Jack Stanton-Gray

I am reaching out to the Indonesian president Joko

Widodo to help save the tigers native to Indonesia. Gaining signatures for this petition is important because it will be a visual representation about how many people really want the tigers to be saved and will hopefully open Joko Widodo's eyes and make him realise how important these creatures are.

The Indonesian president Joko Widodo is in a high position of authority and is able to help save the tigers by enforcing laws and kick-starting the quest to save the tigers.

The names on the petition will show Joko that people care about the tigers and don't want to see them be forced into extinction by poachers.
