Sign the Petition to

President Barack Obama, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, President Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and all world leaders who approved the Paris Agreement

Last December, I was inspired as nearly every country in the world came together to be part of the Paris Agreement to stop climate change. With the agreement in place, it’s now up to leaders like you to turn that agreement into real action.

That’s why I’m urging you to follow through on your country’s commitment to climate action, and attend a public signing ceremony of the Paris Agreement this Earth Day.

We don’t have time to waste. We’ve seen the face of climate change in extreme wildfires, record heat waves, crippling typhoons, devastating droughts, and air pollution so thick kids can’t go to school in some cities. And all around the world, people have called out to leaders like you in every language imaginable to solve this crisis and create a sustainable future for all of us. Implementing the historic Paris Agreement is our chance to do just that.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has personally invited you and other world leaders to sign the historic Paris Agreement at UN headquarters on April 22 – Earth Day. On this day dedicated to honoring the planet, show the millions of us who just want to protect our precious home that you’re serious about climate action.

I’m counting on you to sign the Paris Agreement and help create a future we can be proud of. We’re all counting on you. Support the most important climate agreement ever made this Earth Day.

Signed,

The Climate Reality Project

In December 2015, representatives from 195 countries across every corner of the world reached a landmark global agreement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that could avert a climate catastrophe.

And on April 22 – Earth Day – UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is hosting a signing ceremony in New York. It's a chance to celebrate a new direction for the planet and for world leaders to publicly show their country's commitment to climate action.

The only problem is – world leaders haven't sent in their RSVP.

It's time they made good on their promises from the Paris Agreement.

Add your name today to demand that world leaders join the signing ceremony on Earth Day, April 22 in New York.
