Sign the Petition to

Emma Carr, Group Account Director Res Publica Pty Limited, for Dove Australia.

Dear Emma Carr,

I would like Dove Australia to reconsider their methods of using palm oil, by labelling their products correctly. It has been proven that Dove is not including every product that goes into the branded item, E.G palm oil is in their soaps, shampoos and facial cleanses. If you did not know, palm oil is the main cause of deforestation, therefore with the high demand for palm oil the farms are continuing to grow. Therefore, many wildlife species that live in Malaysia and Borneo are decreasing in numbers as they keep getting wiped out. The Orangutan is near extinction and the continuation of growth in the palm oil industry will push them over the edge if something is not done quickly!

Signed,

Scott O'Shea

By requesting this action it will help by increasing the

orangutan's population and in doing so the possibility of extinction should disappear. However when this action gets implemented it will not only help the orangutans but it will stop the deforestation and prevent any further palm oil farms from being constructed. Emma Carr from Dove Australia is in a position of power and therefore she is the one that can take the requested action further and get more demand for this particular global issue. Ms. Carr can put the requested action to higher ranked people in the dove company and can build the petition, hopefully she can build it that big that dove does something about the issue. The more names that sign the petition the more impact it has on Emma Carr, as it clearly shows that if dove does not do anything about the issue they will lose the business. However if dove chose to implement the action requested, they will possibly lose a little bit of business but on the whole they will be a better company for doing what others never did.
