State Parliament of NSW Australia

We the undersigned..
call upon the State Government of NSW to introduce an Animal Abuser Register to record the names and personal details of every person convicted of an act of cruelty to an animal throughout the state of NSW.
The person would be automatically banned from owning pets for a period of time and their name would be available to Law Enforcement Agencies, animal welfare organisations, shelters /pounds and pet stores.
This Register would allow Authorities to keep an eye on these offenders and to potentially prevent any further abuse from occurring.
It would also prevent those convicted of animal abuse from having access to purchasing or adopting another animal.

Sincerely..

Signed,

Orange for Animal Cruelty Awareness

The introduction of a Animal Abuser Register in NSW could protect both animals and people.

A Register could help prevent convicted animal abusers from having access to purchasing or adopting another animal.

The Register would also enable law-enforcement bodies to search for potential offenders when an animal cruelty offence, or linked criminal offence, takes place in a certain area of NSW.

Please sign and share this petition.

The petition will be submitted to the NSW State Parliament to show our State Government that NSW voters want to see the establishment of an Animal Abuser Register.

Many thanks for being a voice for our animals.
