To help save the Black Rhino from critically endangered

Mr Jacob Zuma, President of the Republic of South Africa.,

We believe that the critically endangered Rhinos is a very important issue. We also believe that you are in a position to take action to address this issue.

Large-scale poaching of the now critically endangered black rhino resulted in a dramatic 96% decline from 65,000 individuals in 1970 to just 2,300 in 1993. Thanks to the persistent efforts of conservation programmes across Africa black rhino numbers have risen since the early 1990s to a current population of 5,055. Rhino poaching is also for their horns which are prized in Asian countries. They also face threats from habitat loss with people chopping down the trees and plants that rhinos depend on to survive and political conflict. In helping the rhinos it will help contribute to the environment and will also help save the rhinos from critically endangered and will keep them around for later generations to admire the rhinos.
Paragraph explaining exactly how this action will change things, the effect of your action on the issue

Your leadership will be judged on its ability to contribute to saving the rhinos. The eyes of the world are watching! Obviously it is time that action is taken to save the rhinos. We ask that you will help them in their time of need. This will be much appreciated. We also request that you save their habitat, so that they have a better chance of surviving. In addition, by saving their habitat you would show the world that you have a heart. You need to increase police and even military presence to put an end to poaching to track down and in prison the poachers and to create and in force laws that will stop the trade and shipping of rhino horn.

Yours sincerely,
Nathan Cains

By enforcing these laws, there is a greater chance of stopping the poaching and preventing the export of rhino horn. As leader of your government you have the capacity to influence legislators and encourage law enforcement. As you can see, there are many people around the world and in your own country who will only be to happy to support your efforts.
