Minister of Education; Ontario

Dear Hon. Liz Sandals,

I am Sam,
I speak English and French.
I am a happy child
I am very smart with strong communication skills
I love my life and I enjoy school
But I am bullied on the school grounds
I have no protection on the school grounds

My parents complained about the bullying and violence towards me to the teacher, principal and police - with no safety or protection provided to me.

I am not safe on the school grounds of Canada

Your mandate carries four key components:
Key Priorities and Results
The ministry’s work supports four government priorities:
• Success for Students
• Strong People, Strong Economy
• Better Health
• Safer Communities

Please do something for me and make me feel safe so I can enjoy my school year.

I have a right to education without being exposed to violence on the school grounds - protect my rights as a student.

Please care about students that are Canadian born, who want to go to school. Please end the violence and bullying in Canada for students. There is no learning when someone is always being bullied or hit by fellow students on the school grounds everyday. Hire parent supervisors for safer school grounds. Teachers cannot protect the rights for children - then, use the new Bill to hire more security on the school grounds.

Put more funding into Aboriginal Students and Schools!

Your's Truly,

Sam,
and supporters,

Signed,

Cowichan Tsou'halim
