Sign the Petition to

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

Honey bees are being wiped out by the increasing use of toxic pesticides. We call on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to immediately suspend bee-killing neonicotinoid pesticides.

Center for Food Safety has just joined forces with musician and DJ Moby in an effort to save the bees before it's too late.

As you'll see in our new video, Moby is passionate about pollinators. We all should be – honey bees are responsible for one out of every three bites of food we eat. Sadly, bees are being wiped out by the indiscriminate use of toxic pesticides.

Watch our new video and join Moby and CFS in taking action to save the bees!

To help give bees an extra boost, Moby grows lots of flowering plants in his yard that bees like, but even if every one of us did the same it still would not be enough to stop the tragic bee losses that beekeepers are suffering – the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) must act now and do its job to protect these critical species.

The EPA is responsible for regulating the pesticides that are killing our bees—neonicotinoids—and they have so far fast-tracked the approval of these bee-killing chemicals instead of taking a hard look at their effects and protecting pollinators from their harms. Worse, they've ignored calls to take action on these pesticides from beekeepers, environmentalists, scientists, and even Members of Congress.

That's where we come in. Last Spring, Center for Food Safety (CFS) and a coalition of beekeepers, environmental and consumer groups filed a lawsuit against the EPA for its failure to protect pollinators from these dangerous pesticides. The coalition, represented by CFS attorneys, seeks a suspension of the neonicotinoids that have repeatedly been identified as highly toxic to honey bees, clear causes of major bee kills, and significant contributors to the devastating ongoing decline of pollinators.

The EPA has still not responded to our legal action, so your pressure on the agency to take immediate action to protect our pollinators is critical!

Honey bees and other pollinators are essential to a healthy food supply and environment. Right now, bee losses are unsustainable. It is urgent that our regulatory agencies take more aggressive action to prevent further declines of pollinators, and acknowledge the role that pesticides play.

If we don't come together to save our bees, who will?
