Appeal to the EU Courts & Scottish Parliament to Investigate the practices surrounding the Scots Referendum

A growing majority of people of Scotland, NOT just Yes voters, but No voters and the World too, feel that a great injustice has been bestowed upon the Scots people by Westminister, who have blatantly lied and misrepresented themselves and vows to gain votes (by deception) in the Referendum. The three main UK pro-union parties - the Conservatives, Labour and the Liberal Democrats - had all promised more devolution to Scotland in the event of a No vote. They succeeded, but the promised timetable of powers and timescales of rolling out of "the vow" was reneged upon within 24 hours of the said vote. Election/vote rigging has come to light that Westminster, as well as the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) and other media factions, seem to be ignoring and they are not willing to investigate fully or allow for a re-vote, of which every voter in Scotland, who feels an unjust referendum took place, would want to happen.

The people of Scotland & further afield, who have signed this petition, are seeking a re-vote where upon the said votes are over seen by representatives of totally independent countries, whom do not have a legal or financial interest in Scotland or the UK & of whom would not stand to gain, financially or otherwise, from Scotland going Independent or staying with the Union. If the said new referendum changes votes to either yes or no, and has been carried out fairly and in accordance to EU Regulatory Laws, the Edinburgh Agreement 2012, then the people of Scotland will abide by this. But on the proviso the said promises of devolved powers made in the run up to Thursday 18th September 2014 Referendum are adhered too & without penalties.
This is NOT about the Yes voters of Scotland being bitter at a loss, this IS about democracy and we have been duped in a big way. A voice we hear cry from all across Scotland by Yes and No voters alike. Not only is there clear evidence of vote tampering, double voting and statements from individuals who were allegedly enumerators &/or present at some of the voting stations, but the vows that were made in the run up to the Referendum, whereby Westminister that being David Cameron, Ed Miliband & Nick Clegg along with the rest of the three main UK pro-union parties - the Conservatives, Labour and the Liberal Democrats - had all promised more devolution to Scotland in the event of a No vote. This promise was reneged upon within 24 hours of winning the No vote.
The tactics we believe used to gain No votes were done by deception ie lies, coercion & misrepresentation of facts to incite fear & alarm, namely to the vulnerable & false promises, by Westminister and by the manipulation of the facts and truths by the media, namely the BBC. Who gave little coverage to the opposition pro-independence party.
The Referendum should have been scrapped once any and all suspicions of tampering had been brought to the attention of the Committee and there should have either been a re-vote straight away or Scotland be declared Independent.

Signed,

Ashley Mitchell

This petition gives you, the chance to have the European Court of Justice hear your voice. We can seek help/assistance from the EU Courts, so lets make our voices be heard, lets make Westminister stand up and be held accountable for their lies and deceit and for their bullying and intimidating behaviour once and for all! The people of Scotland will not lie down and be taken for a ride any longer. If we cant win a re-vote then we demand Westminister deliver what they promised!!

The European Court interprets EU law to make sure it is applied in the same way in all EU countries. It also settles legal disputes between EU governments and EU institutions. Individuals, companies or organisations can also bring cases before the Court if they feel their rights have been infringed by an EU institution. EU law - which has equal force with national law - confers rights and obligations on the authorities in each member country, as well as individuals and businesses. The authorities in each member country are responsible for implementing EU legislation in national law and enforcing it correctly, and they must guarantee citizens' rights under these laws.

Please pass on to ALL concerned about how the Referendum was carried out and aftermath, that has left Scotland in a worse situation than before, despite the promises made my Westminister. This is not just for the Scottish Yes voters, but for all those who believe Scotland has been duped and unfairly mistreated, before during and after the said Referendum. For all those who are fed up of being conned and lied to by corrupt Governments, who promise the world, but deliver nothing.
