Sign the Petition to

Victor Ponta the Prime Minister of Romania

In Romania there are officially 65000 stray dogs roaming freely on the streets of Bucharest and had spread on a huge scale nationwide.
This crisis has been going on for decades and was created as a result of the systematization, a problem caused during the communist regime that has left this cruel legacy.
I believe, like many of us the only way forward to dealing with this problem is to bring in a legislative spay and neuter program.
But instead the Government employs animal control officers to capture the dogs in very inhumane ways and place them in public shelters.
Decades has passed, and still nothing has changed to resolve the stray dog crisis.
Dogs are loyal companions. They have rights just like anybody else and the only way forward is for new protective laws to be implemented.

Signed,

Mark Osborne

We want to tell Romania, killing strays is wrong. This is not the way forward for future Romanian generations to have to live with. Dogs are pets. Dogs are reliable community service dogs. Dogs should never have their loyalty betrayed by ignorance and corruption.
