Monsanto's Man in Congress, Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-Kan.)

Please withdraw your bill that would take away states' rights to label genetically modified organisms (GMOs).

New studies surface everyday warning us of the health hazards of GMOs, and of the severe damage GMO crops, and the herbicides and pesticides used to grow them, are causing at an environmental level.

More than 60 other countries have either banned GMOs, or require foods containing GMOs to be labeled. But here in the U.S., Monsanto and the other corporations in the Grocery Manufacturers Association have pressed lawmakers to side with industry, instead of the citizens they are elected to protect.

Why would you step forward to sponsor a bill that is opposed by 90 percent of Americans? Please put the health of your constituents, and all Americans, ahead of Monsanto and other profit-hungry corporations.

Please reconsider. Please withdraw this bill. Thank you.

Signed,

Organic Consumers Association

Monsanto's man in Congress, Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-Kan.) has introduced a bill to kill GMO labeling.

We're asking consumers nationwide to light up his phone lines and sign our petition with demands that he withdraw his bill that would take away states' rights to label GMOs.

TAKE ACTION: Sign our petition to tell Rep. Mike Pompeo: Don't trample the right of consumers to know what's in our food!

After you take action, please call Rep. Pompeo (202-225-6216) and post on his Facebook page and let him know that you are one of the 90 percent of consumers that want a mandatory federal GMO labeling law. You can also let him know that a bill written by the food industry should not be used to deny states their constitutional right to pass laws governing food safety.

Please help us flood Rep. Pompeo's phone lines today!
