Sign the Petition to

Grant O’Brien CEO Woolworths

Dear Grant O’Brien We believe that factory farming is a very important issue. We also believe that you are in a position to take action to address this issue. Two out of every three farm animals in the world are now factory farmed. If Woolworths got its meat and dairy supply from the 33% of regular farms, not only would you be helping the environment, you would essentially be combatting the end of factory farming for good. Woolworths is a very well-known supermarket range which influences many consumers. If your company were to eliminate these products as you’ve planned to eliminate caged-eggs by 2018, the world of factory farming could also be on its way down by 2018. Coles has already eliminated all caged-eggs and is in plans of abolishing all meats apart from grass fed meats. To keep up with the competition these practises are needed to be put in place. Obviously it is time that action is taken towards factory farming in order to combat all of the detrimental effects it has. We ask that you consider this partition and all it has to offer. In addition, by considering our demand you would show the world that Woolworths is moving forward as a company towards a better brighter future for this world and its people. We trust that you will act promptly on this matter. Yours sincerely, Sasha Campbell

Factory farming is a serious issue effecting the

environment, among many other things. The world is secluded from the horrific truth of what factory farming actually does. Factory farming has detrimental effects to the animals, the environment, and the world's resources and produces less food than what it produces.

Did you know that factory farms use 6kg of wheat for every 1kg of meat they produce, this 6kg is enough to feed over 3 billion people in poverty stricken countries. This needs to stop.

If you agree, then I encourage you to sign the petition. As the COE of Woolworths, Grant O'Brien could have a beneficial effect on the world of factory farming.
