We the citizens of the United States of America demand justice and vigilance for our relatives who are being held as prisoners in Ukraine because they are being denied any chance to come visit their families in America either because of their lack of exorbitant finances or because of their age or gender. My multiply handicapped 10 year-old daughter suffers from Epilepsy and is a strep b meningitis survivor. She has never seen her 73 year old Ukranian grandmother because the grandmother was denied a visitor visa 3 times. ( Recently as of January 2015 the Ukrainian government has prohibited buying any medicines from Russia and Ludmila Ryabchich has intractable glaucoma which was bring treated by Russian medicines. The medication in the Ukraine is limited and when their stockpile of medicines is depleted there will be no more coming in from Russia. She is scared she will lose her eyesight and never get to leave the Ukraine to see her family in America. It's really frightening for all of us. )The most recent time that Mrs. Ryabchich was denied a non-immigrant visa was last September when they stated that she had not proven sufficient ties to Ukraine or had insufficient finances. Neither reasons are true because Mrs. Ludmila Ryabchich has a sister who lives in Kiev and she receives a pension from the Ukranian government for her work as an X-ray technician in the Army. She owns her own apartment. My little Kyla cannot understand why she can only imagine what her grandmother looks like because she is blind and cannot identify faces unless she can feel them or touch the hand or feel the life breath of that human being. According to the American Embassy in Kiev, little Kyla may never get that chance because her grandmother is 73 and is afraid she will die without ever holding or touching that most wanted granddaughter. What a shame that an agency of America a land supposed to be of the free and the brave would be so cruel to a little girl by denying her grandmother the opportunity to see her. I am asking you to look into your hearts and demand that they provide justice not only for my daughter's grandmother but for the millions of other grandmothers, grandfathers, sons or daughters of Americans who are being held prisoner by the cruel and unjust system at the American Embassy in Kiev.

This petition will help all Ukranian citizens who have been denied visa's based on the arrogance of hurried embassy employees who treat many non-immigrants with little or no respect either because of their gender, age or circumstance. It will encourage better oversight and review into the actions and decisions of embassy employees who may be callous and corruptin how they arbitrarily give visas to individuals based on their particular biased preferences and with no real regard for the difficult circumstances many of these people's families in the United States undergo who support the non-immigrant to visit America.
