Dear Mr Abbott, We believe that Whaling is a very important issue. We also believe that you are in a position to take action to address this issue. Whaling started in the late 10th century and has had a detrimental effect on the whale’s species and their habitats. Whaling has been and is still currently involved in 3 countries, Japan, Norway and Iceland in the early 1930’s to the early 1980’s more than 50’00 whales had been butchered and sold off for whale oil and meat since then there has still been a little over 30’000 whales killed with Japan, Norway and Iceland all killing 2000 whales between them each year. Your government will be judged on its ability to ban whaling in our ocean waters. The eyes of the world are watching! Obviously it is time that action is taken to stop this malicious attack on whales. We ask that you will take part in helping such an endangered species. This will produce growth for the whale species and help them become more sustainable mammals. We also request that you further your friendship relations with other countries, so that. In addition, by joining in the fight to save these magnificent mammals would show the world that we are committed to keeping the whale species alive and well so that our children’s children may grow further knowledge and learn about these wonderful creatures. We trust that you will act promptly on this matter.

I demand that whaling has to be stopped especially in Australian waters and we need to come together with other anti-whaling countries to put a ban on killing the whale species off.
