Having a road named after a cruel Mughal ruler Aurangzeb in New Delhi, India is very shameful as his only motive was to make India a fully Islamic country and wanted to finish Hinduism. To achieve this, he even killed, looted, raped thousands of Hindus in his lifetime and forcefully converted many lacs from Hindu to Islam. Sikh's 9th Guru, Guru Teg Bahadur ji came to rescue and sacrificed his own life to kill him and save hindus and humanity giving a message of co-existing of all religions. Hence, the road named Aurangzeb Road which is present in very posh locality of New Delhi is a black spot and conveys a wrong message. Why should we have any road or for that sake any memorial in his name when we all know about his history and deeds. Hence, default and best choice is to rename the road to "Guru Teg Bahadur Road". That will be more justified. I have also filed a RTI in this regard for which the response is awaited.
