PreAmble:
The Premier of Western Australia - Colin Barnett and Fisheries Minister Troy Buswell commanded the use of baited drum lines to lure and kill sharks one kilometre from shore. This is in an attempt to protect heavily used beaches in the metropolitan area and the South-West of Perth. This method of per-amptive culling is ecologically destructive, dangerous and violates many laws.

10 Reasons to Call for the Resignation of Colin Barnett

1. the decision of Colin Barnett to bait and kill sharks indiscriminately is a crime against nature - the ocean are the home of sharks. With the use of baited drum not only sharks of over 3m be caught but smaller sharks, turtles, albatrosses and dolphins may be caught as well.

2. Colin Barnett - you have ignored the demand of the the citizens of Australia - therefore you are unfit to hold your position.

5. Colin Barnett - you have choose to use 6 to 7 million of tax payers money to bait and kill sharks - with the experience in Hawaii this method fail. Your are supporting indiscriminately killing and paying fishermen illegally - therefore you are unfit to hold your position.

6. Sharks are apex predators - they are the lions and tigers of the ocean. They are sentinel animals that keeps our ocean healthy. By indiscriminately baiting young and mature sharks, you are causing the imbalance and causing harm to our planet - therefore you are unfit to hold your position.

7. With the use of baited drum to cull sharks you are destroying the ocean and the chance for future generations- children to see sharks in their natural environment therefore you are unfit to hold your position.

8. Your action of engaging fishermen to use baited drum to cull sharks indiscriminately have caused major embarrassment to Australia - your action have yield international attention and reflect poorly of the people of Australia therefore you are unfit to hold your position.

9. Many Australian are not proud of you; you stupidity is a disgrace to Australia - therefore you are unfit to hold your position.

10. At several level; Colin Barnett is breaking several laws; many sharks are endangered and protected such as the Great White shark - by act baiting sharks is a disrespectful of the law. You are not above the laws.
