The Olympic Charter states:
“The IOC’s role with respect to the environment
is: to encourage and support a responsible
concern for environmental issues, to promote
sustainable development in sport and to require
that the Olympic Games are held accordingly.”
Chapter 1, Rule 2, Paragraph 13 of the 2011
2 young wild Orcas have recently been stolen from their natural environment and their family pod, and sent to Sochi Dolphinarium purely for the purpose of maximizing profits during the 2014 Winter Olympics.
Allowing these 2 Orcas to be captured from the sea as a DIRECT consequence of the 2014 SOCHI WINTER OLYMPICS breaks many rules of the Olympics Environment Mandates.
We call upon Thomas Bach & the IOC to ensure that these 2 Orcas are URGENTLY returned and released back into the Sea of Okhotsk to be reunited with their family.
It is the IOC's DUTY to uphold the Olympic Charter rules & the ensure that Olympic Host cities COMPLY with the United Nation's Agenda 21 document.

2 young newly-caught wild Orcas have recently been stolen from their natural environment and their family pod, to be sent to Sochi Dolphinarium purely for the purpose of maximizing profits during the 2014 Winter Olympics.
If you have not already seen the critically-acclaimed film Blackfish - please watch it, in order to understand WHY these two young Orcas MUST immediately be returned to their own environment, for the sake of their trainers & the Orcas.
There is NO conservational or educational reasons to sentence these highly intelligent animals to a shortened life in what is nothing more than a BATHTUB to them. These animals are being exploited in the name of the 2014 OLYMPICS.
What has this got to do with the International Olympic Committee?
The IOC has rules regarding the environment, wildlife & eco-systems. The IOC must follow the rules of the OLYMPIC CHARTER and must ensure that everyone involved in the OLYMPIC GAMES also adheres to these RULES.
In addition to the Olympic Charter, the IOC must also ensure that their agreement with the United Nations Environment Program Agenda 21 and the Olympic Movement's own Agenda 21 are upheld and closely monitored.
By allowing these 2 Orcas to be captured from the sea as a DIRECT consequence of the 2014 SOCHI WINTER OLYMPICS, breaks many rules of the Olympics Environment Mandates.
In addition to the 2 Olympic Orcas, the IOC are also shockingly allowing the use of an endangered wild caught Black Sea CAPTIVE DOLPHIN as a torch bearer in the Olympic Torch Torch Relay in the run up to the Opening Ceremony.
Clearly this dolphin has NOTHING to do with the Olympics, sport or the city of Sochi. This is a wild animal that belongs in the sea, swimming free, NOT PERFORMING STUNTS for OLYMPIC audiences. The Olympics has a responsibility to set GOOD examples. Olympic games should strive to set a good example by conserving our environment and its inhabitants, and be committed to environmental consciousness.
THERE IS NO NEED FOR ANIMAL CRUELTY IN THE OLYMPICS.
THE WORLD IS WATCHING - IN DISGUST.
