I’m adding my voice to the chorus of students calling on Bank of America and Citi to stop funding fossil fuels and the climate disruptions that threaten our future. Banks must take a leadership role in building a healthy future by redirecting their investments into renewable energy sources.

Big Banks like BofA and Citi are the ATMs for the dirty energy industries. It's time to tell the banks we'll no longer stand for climate disrupting injustice: fund clean energy, not fossil fuels!
Since 2010, BofA and Citi have invested $263 billion in oil, gas and coal companies--more than eight times what it's committed to clean energy investments. But the big banks recruit on college campuses because they can't work without us. That's just one reason we have the power to change them.
In fact, we already have. In 2009, grassroots efforts moved the country's top eight banks to limit funding for companies that practice mountaintop removal coal mining. Now, a growing movement is winning campaigns for fossil fuel divestment.
Let's push Bank of America and Citi further. Students are already calling the banks out on campuses across the country. If bank executives hear from enough people this semester--not just students--they'll listen. Sign below to send a clear message to Bank of America and Citi: stop financing climate chaos.
