Deming Police Chief Brandon Gigante, Deputy District Attorney Daniel Dougherty of Deming NM, Gila Regional Medical Center, including Robert Wilcox, M.D and Okay Odocha, M.D.

David Eckert's 4th amendment right to unreasonable search and seizure was grossly violated. The eight invasive procedures he underwent were done outside of the intended scope and intensity of the warrant, and in the wrong jurisdiction.

We demand that David Eckert be issued an immediate apology from the Deming Police Forces.

In addition, all police officers, and doctors involved in this case should be terminated from employment or punished to the furthest extent after a thorough investigation is performed.

Finally, David Eckert's name must be removed from all medical bills for these procedures, which were unfounded.

We will not accept for these types of injustices to go unaccounted for.

Signed,

This story is sweeping the nation and we must stand up to help.

Reports state that David Eckert was exiting a Walmart Parking Lot when he ran a stop sign and was pulled over by New Mexico Police. The police reported that Eckert was "Clenching his buttocks" leading them to the conclusion that he was hiding drugs internally.

Reports say these police officers arrested Eckert and took him to a nearby hospital demanding that his anus be searched for drugs. When these doctors called the procedures on Eckert "unethical", reports say the police officers took him to another hospital who complied.

At the second hospital, reports say David Eckert was forced to undergo multiple anal searches from doctors using their hands and enemas. When no drugs were found after these procedures, Eckert was forced to undergo a complete colonoscopy before being released.

Eckhert never gave his consent to these procedures, and all eight were conducted illegally and without cause.

These kinds of actions cannot stand.

"If the officers in Hidalgo County and the City of Deming are seeking warrants for anal cavity searches based on how they're standing and the warrant allows doctors at the Gila Hospital of Horrors to go in and do enemas and colonoscopies without consent, then anyone can be seized and that's why the public needs to know about this," - Shannon Kennedy, Eckert's attorney.
