How this will help

Lives Not Knives – Horizons – Mayor's Mentoring Programme
Lives Not Knives (LNK) are proud to be part of the Horizons project, a partnership between South London YMCA, LNK, and Association for Black Engineers.   With funding secured through the Greater London Assembly (GLA) to deliver the Mayor's Mentoring Programme (MMP), Horizons will deliver a mentoring programme, which includes free training, with the aim of improving the life chances of black boys aged 10-16yrs living in Croydon.   The primary focus of the Horizons is to inform and reinforce interest about education, training and employment, with other outcomes including confidence and esteem building.  LNK trained mentors will be able to guide mentees in a positive direction and develop some solutions to issues faced within the mentees' lives.  Mentors will challenge and support their mentees throughout the twelve months mentoring relationship.     Please contact LNK on the details below to discuss further options of engaging with this programme.     info@livesnotknives.org Horizons - Mayor's Mentoring Programme
