As Americans who love our pets just as much as the constitution, We as pet owners and Americans do not agree with the ruling of this case. The two people involved Brent Justice and Ashley Nicole Richards are not contributing members of society. And should not be allowed to roam among us freely. They are two monsters profiting off of the torture and abuse of helpless animals.
To protect them with the first amendment is the most disrespectful thing I have ever witnessed in a legal case using our constitution. It is embarrassing and basically says actions like these are "Okay". This is a complete misrepresentation of our constitution. To think we have young men and women fighting everyday losing their lives to protect our rights makes this case ruling even more appalling.
This case needs a serious revision. If there are loop holes that 99% of American pet owners / animal lovers / animal abuse activist are not agreeing with, they need to be revised and treated for what they are and not transformed into anything the constitution can protect.
Ashley admitted to torturing up to 2 animals per day for years. (that's roughly 2,190 animals she admittedly killed). Which she stated Most on the request of video buyers. And to think she is a free woman now is disgusting and shameful. We are to assume she is suddenly going to stop doing something she has done for profit for years? She is safe to be around other animals and potential human victims? After all, most people that are capable of such acts are capable of much more.
Crush videos are not an acceptable form of religion, expression or beliefs. I have lost all respect for the judicial system at this point. By letting them go and continuing to keep crush videos legal, we are hurting as a society. This behavior is barbaric and far from normal.
We are outraged as Americans. It was a very disappointing, and shameful day in America when this case ruled charges dropped. Making a mockery of our first amendment and basically saying crush videos are acceptable behavior. This petition is in hopes to allow a higher ranking judge to overturn the previous ruling of charges being dropped.

With cases popping up everyday showing animal abuse,And a everygrowing rise in crush video popularity we need to revise this entire outlook on animal abuse. This is not behavior America should condone and most tax paying citizens do not agree with the ruling of this case, or many other cases where people are simply fined for such outrageous acts against animals.
