PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA and the UNITED NATIONS RIGHTS OF THE CHILD and SALE OF CHILDREN COMMITTEES

WE FAVOR ALTERNATIVES to ADOPTION and are AGAINST removing children from parents who are NOT unfit. ADOPTION, A MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR INDUSTRY COMMODIFIES CHILDREN. Our government rewards CPS and foster care workers for removing children from their families for foster homes or adoption according to quotas. WHITE newborns bring up to $60,000 to $80,00 for private lawyers, baby brokers, BROWN babies from many countries bring $30,000+/-; and BLACK babies=$4,000-$10,000, not just in adoptions by coercion, undue influence, duress, forced or so-called voluntary relinquishment for sealed adoptions with falsified birth records, but also so-called open adoption with unenforceable custody agreements.

Adoption law, the most amended law, can no longer be "reformed." Today's adoption system, while promoted by some well-intentioned child advocates, has become concerned with exploiting the needs of childless people by selling babies and children on a world market and in America's supply-and-demand oriented society.

ALTERNATIVES TO ADOPTION that currently exist in law in the United States and that do not require forfeiting of basic civil rights under sealed records laws in exchange for child care, and which enable INDIVIDUALIZED CUSTODY with ACCOUNTABILITY, include: Biological Parent(s) Parenting, Legal Child Guardianship (advantages explained in depth at http://www.amfor.net/alternatives.html ), Kinship Parenting, Co-Parenting. New forms of custody that are evolving must also address the child's needs, rather than the needs of those who have custody.

Even illegal kidnaps and black market adoptions have been legalized in the U.S. under state sealed adoption laws with the blessings of the U.S. State Department if alleged to be "in child's best interests." More adoption means more state and federal government funded adoption placement subsidies with our tax money.

Adoption also promotes the misguided belief that it serves anti-abortion and anti-poverty cross purposes by providing a child with a "better life" that no social worker nor baby broker can predict nor guarantee. There is no accountability after an adoption is finalized and Internet is full of damaged and murdered adoptee news stories. Decades ago, the United Nations Right of the Child Project determined that the United States is "the largest market for stolen children in the world," with California the largest market for stolen children in the U.S.

JOHN HEMMINGS, Member of Parliament is currently at war with an abusive Child Protective Services in the United Kingdom; FACEBOOK hosts voluminous Abolish Family Court pages along with Missing Children and Wrongful Adoption posts and newsfeeds; and AUSTRALIA has almost totally abolished adoption except as a last resort. America, too, can do better for its children.
