ACTION ALERT !!
Alaska's wolves, lynx, and coyotes at risk on Wildlife Refuge!!!! TIME SENSITIVE --- BY JULY 31ST!
Long Time Wildlife Viewing Area Could Become a Killing Field. ALL Federal Wildlife Refuges in Alaska are at Risk! The Skilak Wildlife Recreation Area (Skilak WRA) is a 45,000 acre prime wildlife viewing and photography location and has been so for over 30 years. The Alaska Board of Game has recently authorized opening this small portion of the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge to the hunting of wolves, lynx, and coyote. The USFWS has ultimate say on this land and is not required to go along with the state BOG. The USFWS needs to hear from every American possible that values the non consumptive use of Alaska's precious wildlife. Let there be no doubt, if the BOG gets their way with this unprecedented action all Federal Wildlife Refuge land in Alaska will be in the crosshairs of the BOG's extreme predator killing programs. This means that an additional 77 million acres of Alaska will be put at risk!
