There is nothing glamorous about dog fighting.
A blood sport in which dogs are bred to fight, many dogs die if not in the ring, then after a fight when they don't win.
Although he has been in the fight game for over twenty years, with 200 fights in regular martial arts tournaments over 24 years, he is convinced that this cruelty is reprehensible.
He would like to see an end to it.
On Saturday July 27th, starting at 4PM, dog lovers and advocates of all ages are invited to the Motion Picture Institute to participate in a FREE awareness event.
The focus of this event will be "The Dog Fighter: MMA's Animal Rights Hero". an emotionally charged documentary in which Shell spreads awareness to end the illegal dog fighting epidemic plaguing Detroit and win prize money for the local Humane Society.
