How YOU Can HELP!
We need support from our community to sustain prorgamming. Your donation will directly support the operating and program expenses for Freedom4Youth's 4 Programs:
- F4Y Leadership Program at Los Prietos Boys Camp & Academy, Santa Maria Juvenile HallF4Y Advocates,
- UCSB Mentorship Organization
- WAGE$, Job Training & School Success
- Wellness Program, a community-based after-care culinary program to improve the development and progression of cooking skills, applied food literacy, and invaluable life skill
Right now 96% of operating expenses and 60% of program expenses are possible because of volunteers donating, their time, energy, and love. Thank you to our incredible "Team Freedom" volunteers. We couldn't continue to effectively serve incarcerated youth without your support. Program Evaluation Findings

"We are dedicated to providing skill- based programming, community engagement, and collaborative support systems to empower youth in pro-social ways. Freedom4Youth provides a holistic approach to intervention. We seek to provide new peer associations, mentorship, and self-esteem building. But most importantly to restore the humanity within the youth that they have lost as a result of drug abuse, gang indoctrination, and unequal punishment at school. We are an around the clock organization- always seeking new and innovative ways to empower our youth.
Innovation and work ethic is lifeblood in the rehabilitation of troubled youth as there is no cookie cutter program. Plus, there are more troubled youth than there is people who care for them. That is why we are committed to trying new things, asking youth what their ideal program is and then creating it. In this field of work less is not better, a minimalist approach will not work. We believe that more programming will give youth more options to find their ideal environment where they can create their own version of success"
