I pledge to support efforts for injured Veterans to receive Service Dogs.Pledge
Please lend your voice to help an injured veteran.
"One out of every ten veterans alive today was seriously injured at some point while serving in the military, and three-quarters of those injuries occurred in combat. For many of these 2.2 million wounded warriors, the physical and emotional consequences of their wounds have endured long after they left the military. At the same time, nearly all veterans are proud of their service, regardless of whether they suffered serious injuries." (Article by Rich Morin, Pew Research Center, a nonpartisan fact tank that informs the public about issues. http://bit.ly/11GBrqo )
We cannot do enough for the brave men and women our country sent into combat. Please pledge to support with your vote, your voice, or your dollars to needy service dog training groups that those injured veterans that need Service Dogs should get them.
For our part, The Service Dog Foundation, established by a Veterinarian and his wife, creates a vehicle for fund raising and financial supplementation to help those that need a service dog break through the biggest barrier, money. We raise money to send to training organizations. The need is great. Learn more at www.TheServiceDogFoundation.org.
