In 2012, our 3 professionally produced and marketed PSAs reached literally millions of viewers in major television markets across the country. People who have never heard of CMV are learning about it directly in their homes. We don't want to waste time or funds preaching to the choir. What we need to do is reach those who don't know about CMV, and reach them now. That is how awareness is increased. Marketing takes funds. In 2012, we spent $5,000 to market our PSAs. The market value of the airtime we received was valued at just under $600,000. That is a fantastic return for the expenditure. Most importantly, it is saving lives.
