Sign the Petition to

Senator Roy Blunt, Missouri Republican

The people of this country, who are the voters, demand that you issue a public apology for sneaking in a provision that protects the corporation, that is a agricultural giant, Monsanto, into an unrelated spending bill in March.  These "sneaky" politics are bad for the United States. This was a blatant offense against the citizens that you were elected to serve.  The appropriately dubbed "Monsanto Protection Act" puts our personal food freedoms and choices in limbo and we demand that you apologize for your behavior. We the people, also expect you to correct this terrible error!

Signed,

Nancy Chasteen

What do you think about a powerful major corporation like Monsanto writing their own laws and regulations? If you don't think this is right, please sign this petition.

During an important budget crisis in March of 2013 Senator Blunt slipped a provision into a 1000+ bill at the last minute that was actually written by agricultural giant Monsanto.   The controversial provision,  called the "Monsanto Protection Act," protects genetically modified seeds from litigation in the face of health risks.

Senator Blunt, who admits colluding with Monsanto, has accepted campaign donations in excess of $100,000 from the corporation over the past few years. [1]

The Monsanto Protection Act has become a hot topic of debate.  Sign the petition to demand that Senator Blunt apologize for his "sneaky" politics.
