Friends of Horses,
I am very excited to announce that HorseNet Horse Rescue has an amazing opportunity to purchase enough hay to feed our rescued horses this summer, and throughout this coming winter, at a very discounted price. This fresh cut hay is only possible because the generous land owner does not need their cuttings this year and is willing to "donate" the grass. HorseNet does not have the equipment to cut and bale hay so we are at the mercy of an experienced hay farmer who will complete the haying process and stack on our farm for only $2.50 a bale. Hay of this quality normally costs our rescue between $6.25 ~ $6.75 a bale.
This offer is for approximately 6,800 bales, an amount that would normally cost our rescue $39,000. With this opportunity the cost will only be $17,000. This is truly an incredible offer. Time is of the essence, in order to receive this gift we must raise these funds by the end of August.
HorseNet Inc. became a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2000 and continues to be 100% volunteer-run and operates solely on donations. Our rescue firmly believes that every horse can perform a job of some kind, no matter what their limitation. Whether it be as show horse, trail horse, kid's pony or pasture companion every horse that comes to us deserves a second chance and a loving home. This offer of a new life is the basis on which HorseNet was founded. To date, we have found loving homes for over 400 horses. Currently we care for approximately 85 horses between our farms.
Our amazing horses need your help, they are depending on your generosity to make this hay dream a reality...
Please take a moment and send a donation today. Your kind
gift will ensure that we can make this once in a lifetime opportunity happen
for the horses that need us, and for the first time in over 10 years, our
rescue will not have to struggle with hay over the winter.
