Sydney Film Festival

Environmentalist and producer Robert Stone's much-acclaimed  documentary film Pandora's Promise has been rejected for screening at this year's Sydney Film Festival. This documentary has been widely acclaimed at the Sundance Film Festival, and has been lauded by critics and the public alike. Sir Richard Branson was so impressed by the case made in the film that he has arranged for a special screening for US senators and congressmen in Washington DC. Make no mistake, this is a major production on a critically important topic.

We the undersigned call upon the organisers of the Sydney Film Festival to reverse their decision to exclude  Pandora's Promise from the festival's program, and screen it as one of the major environmental documentaries of this year.

Signed,

Craig Schumacher
