Pledge to support the iCan Bike camp so that St. Louis area kids with disabilities can learn to ride a bike.

This pledge closed 3 months ago

The scoop...  Missouri Families for Effective Autism Treatment (MO-FEAT) hosts a week of iCan Bike camp every summer.  The camp focuses on teaching children with autism to ride a bike but is open to children with any disability, and the successes have been phenomenal!  iCan Bike is a national organization with specialized bikes and trainers - previously known as Lose the Training Wheels. The camp is fee-based, and the cost to families is offset by fundraising. MO-FEAT's past director, Anne, is a cyclist. She aims to turn her own cycling into funding for scholarships to bring independence and the joy the cycling to children.

The pledge....

  • I will support the iCan bike camp so that children with disabilities in the St. Louis area can attend bike camp in 2014.

  • I will donate a penny for each of the 2,000 miles that Anne cycles in 2013 - a $20 donation or more.* My donation will help fund 20 scholarships for children to attend the camp.

  • I will consider volunteering to support the iCan Bike camp in June of 2013. Visit www.mofeat.org for more information.

*MO-FEAT will follow-up with you in November 2013 to request your
tax-deductible donation.

Thank you for taking the pledge!

Anne Roux, Past Executive Director of MO-FEAT, Parent, Cyclist
