Eli is a Therapy Animal for an 11 year old with special needs (Autism). Eli is an indoor (domestic) animal and part of our family. We have had Eli for almost 2 years. We had received verbal approval over the phone allowing his adoption. Then The City of Fenton recently sent us a letter in Violation of a Nuisance...Again, Eli. Eli is an indoor domestic Therapy Animal, goes outside with the family dog and comes right back in. Eli is in our presence each time and is not left alone. Eli does not bark, bite or chase anyone nearing our yard. He is not left out too roam the streets at all hours. If you did not know we had Eli, you would not see him and certainly not hear him or know he was present...that is how quiet Eli is. Eli is wonderful Therapy and is extremely intelligent. Eli is truly a Blessing for our family and a wonderful Therapy Animal. Please reconsider your stance on requiring us to remove Eli. Please consider the source of the complaint. Our direct neighbors are in full favor of Eli, do not have an issue with him and never even know when he is outdoors. One of our direct neighbors is a Special Ed Teacher and knows first hand the benefits on Therapy Animals like Eli and is in full favor of our keeping Eli. Please give kind consideration to an 11 year old girl and her therapy companion, Elli. God Bless, The Zienteks

Therapy Animals are extremely therapeutic for people with special needs like Autism. We have a Pot Belly Pig for this reason and now after almost 2 years the City of Fenton Michigan wants us to get rid of this comapnion animal. Eli is Therapy for an 11 year old girl with special needs (autism). Eli is awesome! He is an indoor pet, very intelligent and quieter than the dogs in our neighborhood.Eli does not bark, bite or chase anyone away. Eli is truly a Blessing for our family. The selfishness, prejudice, discrimination and harassment by others has caused our family much grief. Eli is a domestic indoor Therapy Animal not a wild animal nor a farm animal; Eli lives indoors with us and has his own room. PLEASE HELP US tell the City of Fenton Michigan to allow us to keep our Eli. Thank you so much for helping us and especially Eli! God Bless, The Zienteks
